social networking - buzz தானாவே என் மெயில் பாக்ஸ்சில் இருந்ததை பார்த்து இது என்ன புதுசா என்று யோசிக்கும் முன்னேயே, என்னோட பதிவுகள், google reader-ரில் நான் ஷேர் செய்பவை, picasa photos, என்று வரிசையாய் சகலமும் சில்லறை சிதறினது போல ஆயிற்று. இது என்னடா கூத்து என்று யோசித்து கொண்டே, கொஞ்சம் buzz செய்தும் பார்த்தேன்.

மிக முக்கியமாக, உங்கள் அனுமதியோ இஷ்டமோ இல்லாமல் உங்கள் contact list-டில் உள்ளவர்கள் எல்லோரும் visible ஆவார்கள். இதில் எனக்கு துளியும் உடன்பாடு இல்லை. இதனால் hackers மற்றும் spam mailersகளுக்கு நிச்சயம் கொண்டாட்டமாகவே இருக்கும்.  ஒரு etiquette நிமித்தத்தில் எல்லோரையும் follow செய்து, மதியம் லஞ்ச் போது பாத்தால் mail box-சில் ஏகப்பட்ட மெசேஜுகள். : ( 

ஏகப்பட்ட மெயில் ஐடிகள் வைத்திருக்கும் பழக்கம் இல்லாததால்,  டமால் டமால் என்று வரிசையாய் மெயில் வந்து குமிஞ்சிருந்த மெயில்களையும் buzz-சையும் தனியாகப் பிரிக்கத் தெரியாமல் சுர்ர்-னு BP ஏறியது.

நேத்தே பட்டர்பிளை சூர்யா இதை பண்ணிட்டார், எனக்குத்தான் எப்படி வெளியேறுவது என்ற வழி தெரியாமல் இருந்தேன்.  இன்று காலை நான் செய்த முதல் காரியம், (என் நண்பர் "Techi" Nag-குக்கு நன்றிகள் பல) unfollow செய்ததும், buzz-சை turn off செய்ததும்தான்.
இங்க போயி ஒருத்தரோட அனுபவத்தை படிச்சுப் பாருங்க.

பஸ்ஸு ரொம்ப கூட்டமாவும் இரைச்சல் ஜாஸ்தியாவும் இருக்குங்க... மிக முக்கியமாக நிமிஷம் நிமிஷமாக ஆகும் நம்ம நேர விரயம் ... ஈடு செய்ய முடியுமா???? :(

////click on your followers and block those you dont want in your group.
click on the list you follow and 'unfollow' those whose messages you dont want to see.

Just be aware that anything you do linked to this id could potentially be visible to all that are connected to the id or even to hackers.

guess google will improve this to provide more options to filter out the noise v receive in future. you may want to block all and ignore Buzz until it gets better to the level u are comfortable with.  /////

shoe lace-சை எப்படி கழற்றுவது?

• சில நேரம் குழந்தைகள் ஷூ-லேசை இறுக்கி முடிச்சிட்டு கொண்டு வந்து விடுவார்கள். காலிலிருந்து ஷூ-வை கழற்ற முடியாமல் திண்டாடுவோம். முடிந்தவரை காலிலிருந்துஷூ-வை கழற்றி விட்டே முடிச்சை நீக்க முயற்சிக்கவும். கழற்ற முடியாவிட்டால், அந்தநபரை ஒரு சேரிலோ சோபாவிலோ அமரச் செய்து, நீங்கள் தரையில் அமர்ந்து கொண்டால், அந்த நபர் தடுமாறி கீழே விழுவதைத் தவிர்க்கலாம்.
• ஒரு மெட்டல் போர்க்-கைப் (metal fork) அல்லது கோணி ஊசி பயன் படுத்தி மெதுவாக கழற்றப்பாருங்கள். அதிக அழுத்தம் கொடுத்தால், போர்க் / ஊசி நழுவி காயப்படுத்தக் கூடும்.முடிந்தவரை எதுவும் லூப் கிடைக்கிறதா என்று பார்த்து, அந்த லூபிலிருந்து ஆரம்பியுங்கள். பொறுமை மிக அவசியம்.
• மழைக் காலத்தில் சிக்கலான ஒரு விஷயம் ஈரமான ஷூக்கள், மற்றும் ஈரத்தில் இறுகிப்போன லேய்ஸ் முடிச்சுதான். அதை எப்படி இலகுவாக கழற்றுவது என்று பார்க்கலாம்.
• ஈரமான ஷூ-வை நல்ல தண்ணீரில் அலசி விட்டு, ஷூ-வின் வடிவம் மாறாமல் இருக்க, நியூஸ் பேப்பரை உருட்டி உள்ளுக்குள் திணித்து வைத்து, காய வையுங்கள். இதனால்ஷூ-வுக்குள் இருக்கும் ஈரமும் பேப்பரால் உறிஞ்சப் படும்.
• காய்ந்த பின், போர்க் அல்லது கோணி ஊசியால் நீக்கினால் சுலபமாக வந்து விடும். ஷூ-வுக்குள் ஈரம் நன்கு காய்ந்த பிறகு போரிக் பவுடர் தூவி வைக்கவும்.
• எதுவுமே கைகூடவில்லை என்றால் கத்தரிக்கோல் உபயோகித்து கத்தரித்து விடவும்.
• முடிந்த வரை, ஷூ லேஸ் அதிக நீளத்தில் இல்லாமல் பார்த்துக் கொள்ளவும். இதனால்அடிக்கடி லேஸ் கழன்று விடுவதையும், கால்தடுக்கி கீழே விழுவதையும் தவிர்க்கலாம்.
• காட்டன் அல்லது ரோப் ஸ்டைல் லேஸ்களே சிறந்தவை. எலாஸ்டிக் மற்றும் சிந்தெடிக்இரகங்கள் அடிக்கடி கழன்று விடும்.

The Sun's light contains a perfect blend of seven colors that gives the color white which makes sunlight a white light.
When sunlight (white light) passes through a prism, it scatters the different colors of light according to their wavelength, showing a continuous band of colors. This band of colors appears in the same pattern as the colors of a rainbow.
Therefore when the sunlight strikes the surface of an object, that object based on its properties will absorb some of these colors and the color that is reflected from its surface gives it its color. If no light is absorbed, the object appears to be colorless. If an equal amount of all colors from the sunlight is reflected off the object, then that object will appear white. If all colors are absorbed by the object, then the object will appear black because all colors are absorbed, leaving nothing to be reflected.


A red apple absorbs all colors except red, and reflects the red light waves back to our eyes and we see and say the apple is red.

Teaching the Stock Market to your Kid

1. Sit down with your child and the business section of the local paper.
2. Go to the listings for the Stock Exchange.
3. Find a stock your child is familiar with, such as Disney or McDonald's.
4. Explain that stock represents a share of ownership in the company.
5. Tell what each number for the stock you have selected means.
6. Ask if your child has any questions.Keep a list of all questions and double-check if you had answered all the queries.
7. Suggest your child tracks the price of the stock over the next week.
8. Have your child prepare a sheet of paper or poster for that purpose.
9. Point out the stock tickers on Television.
10. At the end of the week, review the price changes and see what other questions your child may have.
